Can you be out of stock for a week???

I tried ordering St Elmos Carbonara pasta the whole of last week just cause I love their carbonara pasta, they have been out of stock with their sauce mostly and then Pasta. i just want to know how you can be out of stock a whole week. I still love their pasta but wont even do trouble to phone and order as its a waste of airtime to phone just to hear we out of stock. Very dissapointed.
