OUR NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE AT FISH AWAYS SILVER OAKS

1. The Calamari legs were BURNED / OVER DEEP FRIED & had a BITTER taste... my husband had 1 leg and the rest ended in the trash can! DISGUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST!
2. The Port Prawns of R34.90 is an absolute disgrace... the portion is an excuse of a portion!
3. NO TARTAR SAUCE, SALT, PEPPPER, SERVIETTE - IT IS THE NORM... A person couldn't even cover the distasteful food with tartar sauce.
I spoke to the owner Hilda, who had a BAD attitude!
She informed me that her staff insist there was tartar sauce etc. in the bag, NO Hilda your staff is lying!
She also told me that she tasted her own food this afternoon and it was 100%, Hilda your chef OVER COOKED the calamari legs and it was BITTER.
Then Hilda told me she had another client this week also screaming at her, and she told him to go back and get all on the house. The client apparently bragged to the staff, he got food for free. She insinuated I want to do the same. REST ASSURED I CAN AFFORD TO BUY ANY FOOD!! WHAT AN INSULT
THE LEAST I ACCEPTED WAS DECENT FOOD, SERVICE AND AN APOLOGY!!!
I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A FISH AWAYS EVER AGAIN! AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME!!
