Spur breakfast and Maggot

Good Day,

It is with much sadness I write this email, myself and my partner went to Spur, Musgrave and has a "breakfast special" half way through my usually delicious meal, I noticed a worm on my plate, which must have come from the tomato, I took a closer look and it was a elongated, dark nosed worm. I immediately stopped eating and reported this to my waiter whose name I wish not to mention, as it is not the gentle mans fault. He immediately noticed it, and deeply apologized and took my plate and partners plate away, we waited for some response, and yet we waited and waited, then caught his eye and asked for the bill, he did not report this incident to a manger or acting in charge, while waiting for the bill, a manger approached us to check on us, and notified her of the incident, and no apology or reassurance was offered, no mention of following this up, or reassuring us that this matter would be looked into, I did take a photo of this Maggot, on my Spur plate. We then proceeded to pay the bill, with the manger still acting in complete surprise and I in sited in paying the full bill, the manager insisted the bill be reduced. This is unacceptable, and disturbing!!!
