On Sunday night, 19th Jan 2014, after a very tiring weekend away, we arrived home late and ordered 3 Nandos burgers with chips to be delivered. After 1/2 hour, nothing had arrived. I phoned nandos, Hillcrest and was told it was on its way. After another 1/2 an hour I phoned again to be told our order was still being made. After yet another 1/2 hour (now a total of 1 1/2 hours) the burgers finally arrived. The burgers and chips were stone cold.By now, it was 20h14 and my son, who had school in the morning, was exhausted and hungry. I phoned the manager at Hillcrest Nandos and informed him of our dilemma. I told him we were not paying for the meals. He was not remorseful at all and said I had to pay for the meals. The following day, I get a phonecall from Hillcrest police station saying your Hillcrest Nandos manager was there laying a charge against me. I was shocked! What kind of customer care is that? We were regulars at Nandos but no longer! Places like Scooters, Debonair's, etc accept blame if deliveries are late or arrive cold, but obviously not Nandos. I am very disappointed and will be taking this further. I cannot believe the stupidity of this manager's actions
