Spur Steak Ranches
Made us sick literally

I just got married&moved to the area 2 weeks prior, we were very excited to find a spur so close to us because we love Spur. To our disappointment everything had gone wrong. We ordered the cheesy garlic roll it was great. My husband ordered a platter the chicken was stringy as if it was redone, the chops also looked like it was redone it was burnt but flooded with the sauce. Both was returned and the manager Lesley made sure new food was done properly. I ordered the starter mushroom and starter calamari. My calamari came with incorrect sauces&no chips. I had to ask for it. I tried to eat the chops from my husbands platter however it was awful tasted burnt and rubbery and he ate the chicken which was stringy and rubbery. The manager apologized, we paid and left. That night we got terribly sick. We threw up the entire night. I have refused to go to any Spur since then because I feel sick thinking about it. This place ruined my favorite restaurant. The manager and staff are wonderful however you should look at your kitchen staff it seems they are recycling food which is totally unacceptable. I hope this addressed with the kitchen staff. Very disappointed wasted my money & my R50.00 vouche
