Poor quality food and poor service

My mum and I went to Mugg and Bean in Riverside Mall. I ordered the clam chowder and my mother ordered a Mexican wrap of some variety. The clam chowder I do not believe had ever seen a clam in its life. As to my mother's solitary wrap (which cost R68!), one could barely get a knife through the wrap and the paltry strips of beef in it were practically gristle and as tough as old leather. Why offer a dish you obviously cannot prepare properly?

We might have said something to our waitron but not once were we asked if everything was to our satisfaction. In fact she only resurfaced after, with some difficulty, we signaled her for the bill. Management was nowhere to be seen. Poor show!
