False information on Spur website

On 14/11/13 we visited the Red Rock Spur for dinner at around 6.30pm. Prior to our visit, we were undecided where we wanted to have dinner as there are many options in the Boardwalk complex so decided to consult the website to establish what was on the menu and peruse for specials. We decided on the Big Chief combo which the website depicted as including steak, lamb chop and boerewors. This particular choice was the deciding factor on going to the Spur. We were extremely disappointed once we were there to find that this particular combo did not include what was advertised on the website and now included chicken which we did not want. It was only due to the fact that we had settled in and already received our drinks order and were already deciding on starters that we decided to stay and opt for an alternative main meal, which was the 500g T-bone. Despite us enjoying the meal that we opted for as an alternative and experiencing the usual friendly service, this was most irritating and definitely put a damper on the evening and our expectations of Spur. This amounts to false advertising and Spur should be more vigilant to ensure that this does not inconvenience more customers
