Double Standards, Eys wide Open

I went to Wimpy at the Riverside Shopping Centre, Vanderbijlpark on Friday 8 Nov, around 10h00.

It was scorching hot - I had my dog with me, a Pomeranian, and I let him out of the car to sit with us in the OUTSIDE area of Wimpy, as usual.

IMMEDIATELY, before we even got to sit down, the manager, Lourens, was on us, asking that we please remove the dog, and showed us the sign saying: Guide Dogs Only. I complied, and took the dog back to the car, opened all the windows, and poured him some water in a cup.

Just then, a man walked in with his cute Jack Russell. I stopped him, and said to him if you don 't want any problems, you should remove your dog.

He just walked past us, and sat down, the dog jumped up on the chair next to him.

Now I was waiting for it - for the manager to storm out and catch this man in the act.

INSTEAD - a few minutes later the manager, Lourens, personally SERVED the man, saying absolutely nothing about the dog sitting next to him! Not sending a waiter, he served him his food!

How is THAT for double standards? I said nothing, but went and fetched my dog from the car. There was absolutely NO disturbances from there on!

I couldn't believe my eyes! Huh?
