Shocking Standards

I bought medium chips and medium hake at the Fish and Chips takeaway in the Joburg CBD. When I got my order, I was shocked to see that both the chips and the fish were packaged in a white ordinary paper than the usual boxes that normally comes along with a purchase of food at these outlets. This reminded me of the 1980s when food used to be wrapped in such dirty paper. I can't believe that these guys are dragging their brand into the mud by failing to maintain consistency in standards. I for one will never buy from these outlets again. I can't spend R46 and have food served on a piece of paper like I am some charitable case. No wonder people remain loyal to the biggest restaurant brands like KFC, Nandos and McDonalds. At least you are assured of the same standard whether you are in Secunda, Witbank, or Rosebank.
