Oder from Kiddies Menu

My wife and I went for lunch at your Berea Spur in East London. I ordered a meal from your full menu and my wife asked to order a meal from the Kiddies menu (since she recently had her wisdom teeth removed she wasn't going to be able to eat a big meal).
We were then told that we are not allowed to order a meal from the kiddies menu by the manager. Claiming there is now way and it is not allowed by franchise policy.
This is absolutely ridiculous!!
If both of us was ordering from the kiddies menu I could see his point, but refusing to serve us a meal that would be served to any parent & child scenario (in this case with minor exception) is uncalled for.
We took our business else where, and they wont have to be bothered by me again.
