I should begin by saying that the MJC should consider discrediting and removing this store from their database as their complete disregard for basic hygiene functions could result in a patron falling ill and thereafter suing the organization. I was in eastgate last week thursday and decided to grab something to eat. the obvious choice was this establishment as they are one of a few halaal eaterys in the mall. I ordered a triple decker pizza and was waiting standing at the counter waiting for the order when the staff at the back (more than 1person) were preparing the pizzas in the back which is visible to the public. the first lady placed the base on the counter then handed over the duties to the second lady who was mopping the floor, she squeezed the water out of the mop and then added the topping and after a few seconds went back to mopping while the other one who now had finished removing the sweat of her forehead using the palm of her hand, went back to making the pizza. these women had no gloves on, no hats over their heads absolutely nothing! i pointed this out to the teller who told me " theres nothing wrong with it" before breaking into a dialect only known to herself.
