Drive Thru not Park off

I went to mentioned KFC drive thru to get lunch. After placing an order I was asked to park and they'll bring my food to me. I told the lady i'm running late and cant wait long. After waiting for about 10minutes, I decided to walk into the shop and ask about my order. I was told there's no one to bring it out and I can wait there to get it. I waited for more than 15minutes just to get an order I placed at the drive thru. Whats the use of the drive thru if you can only place your order but have to go park anyway and go and collect your order in the shop??
