Our 'First Day Out' ruined

My husband and i are new parents and for our first day out together in nearly 13 weeks, without baby, we decided to start with a breakfast at Tashas.
What a disappointment.
We ordered a pineapple juice, and an orange, carrot, pineapple and ginger juice. We got a pineapple/orange and carrot/ginger.
My bacon rosti breakfast (a firm favourite before) was hardly edible - the rosti was burnt, half raw and full of onion. My husbands Jet and Lukes breakfast was swimming in oil.
We ordered 2 pieces of cake to take home and our bill was close on R400, for a breakfast we didnt enjoy, at all. We cant even say "at least it was cheap".
For the rest of the day we both felt so ill - from stomach aches to nausea.
With a 13 week old, the last thing you want is to feel like crawling into bed - because its not going to happen.
We're most disappointed, and we're not complainers by nature but it was just so awful, we couldnt not.
