BAD SERVICE & BAD ATTITUDE

We had a large group of over 70 guests dine at Sophiatown Bar Lounger recently and the experience was nothing short of appalling.

The waiter service was dreadful and the group leaders had to serve drinks and help clear plates. There was not enough food on the buffet for everyone to have a varied choice. The owner of the restaurant was non committal, unapologetic and un-customer focused and refused to take responsibility for the poor service and lack of food and just made excuses and tried to lay the blame on the guests and the group leader.

Unacceptable in all respects in this competitive day and age where there is so much choice of excellent restaurants at fair value for money in Johannesburg.

All the arrangements was made with the restaurant well in advance and and the expectations on the night was not met at all!
