Toy promotion

I am disappointed. I have been trying to get the promotional toys (Minions) from Macdonald's for almost a week now. I was told that I can't buy the toys separately, so I have to buy extra food just to get the toys. I was told that a new toy comes out every 2 weeks. Last night I went to 1 Macdonald's and I had to leave after 10 mins of standing with no service because there was only 1 person packing orders and serving customers. There were only 2 customers in front of me. I drove to another McDonalds bought happy meals for the toys and was given EPIC glasses! I was told that they haven't opened new stock and they can't help me. How is it possible? Does each MacDonald's have different toys they can give out? or must I drive around SA to get these toys that my family wants? It's difficult to get the whole collection because I never know which toy is at which MacDonald's? Its disappointing for my family.
