LAUNCH ITEM OUT OF STOCK!!!

Yesterday I saw the poster through the window and stood my place in the queue, only to be told when I placed my order that I could not get 2 of launch offer specials because there was no stock of the quiche's. They had the mugs, but no savoury tarts.

HOW can there be a poster on the wall advertising the great launch offer - and NO stock of the launch item??? Is this false advertising not covered under the Consumer Protection Act??

Not to be deterred, I looked up another branch under their Store Locator on the net and went to the shopping centre listed on the net. There is a King Pie sign on the outer of the building which shows all the tenants, but I could not find the store in the centre!
