Patrty being cut in half

Good day
i would like to report this as i dont know maybe its something new thats happening or being done at mcdonalds

i bought too big macs yesterday
now the patty was cut in half
is it cost saving cause clearly if it was the burger should then be reduces

if this how things are going to be done
im not very happy about it
i dont know ether was it because of month end or what
clearly
the burger should be untidy unlike the patty being cut into two
