I visited John Dori's while in Umhlanga on business on 26 June 2013. I was sceptical about me decision to go for the sushi that was half price but I was pleasantly surprised. The portions sizes were great but best of all you could taste the fish!!! Sadly a lot of restaurants that serve sushi pull the wool over our eyes with small, tasteless portions. Whilst I gobbled down the delicious meal I watched as the Japanese guy filleting a salmon and the 2 African ladies prepared the sushi with such attention to detail. each piece of avocado was carefully inspected and chucked away at the slightest hint of brown and the same with the other ingredients and the salmon. the serving staff were friendly and very eager to keep me company seeing that I was on my own. Well done guys!!!
