Ad service, no respect and not compensated

My husband and i went mcdonalds in promenade tonight.i ordered a small big mac meal with a standard hot chocolate and a medium big mac meal with cooldrink. i did not understand why my fries and burger cost more than my husbands medium fries and burger when the drinks were charged separately. i just wanted to be explained properly.

the lady that served me was irritable and rude, she spoke loud for other customers to hear, it was very embarassing for me. then she called a second person who was suposedly the manager who also explained to me in a loud aggressive tone. then the lady who initially served me was speaking to me across from the other side of the store while busy with another order, aloud for all the customers to hear and to show how irritated she was with me. this was very upsetting for me. i am pregnant and was very hungry and at the same time humiliated, there was a second manager on duty and came to talk to me. she could explain to me the right thing in a presentable manner she refunded me but i feel i was not compensated enough cz i still left hungry, had to wait for my order, and upset. why wasnt i given a voucher as a way to show empathy towards me as a client.
