Waiter made me pack my own food

A friend and i decided to head over to Wimpy Beachfront for a nice relaxing lunch after work... knowing its peak hour when the place is packed with hungry faces, we insisted with the wait and saw nothing to it. The waiter (didn't bother with checking her name) offered her assistance and served us, but for some odd reason it seemed as if she had too many tables to tend to because other waiters were nowhere to be seen. We eventually got our meal and enjoyed the most out of it... unfortunately we had some reasonable portions as leftovers and wanted a doggy bag to go. When she came to assist we assumed that she will take the plates back and hand us our packed meals but instead went out back and came back with empty containers and said we should pack it on our own as she has to take an order at another table... EXCUSE ME???!!! Never have i in my entire life been subjected to such terrible service!! we were shocked, absolutely disgusted, couldnt believe it!!! The manager was sincere enough to apologise when we complained and offered to pack them for us, but the icing on the cake was when she came and asked us if there was a problem... HELLO???!!! will never go there again
