False competition

A month ago there was a competition via twitter for 50 people to win a king steer burger. I entered, i won. Received a direct message stating that i was one of the winners, messaged my contact details back as requested. Now a month later, steers is ignoring my twitter posts and private messages.

Was this a fake competition run by steers? It is on their formal email I received and also formally announced on facebook and twitter... can I please receive feedback as being told you won and then being ignored is not proffessional.
