Thursday Special a sham

I went to spur Kempton park Chatoga! I wanted the bottomless wings and ribs special as advertised for Thurdays R99! Asked the waiter (Honest was her name) about it and was told the Special was running, then after about ten minutes was told I cant have the special because it was running only from 5pm and that was the instruction from the manager on duty. I accepted it and ordered the normal wings and ribs combo. Paid R114, 95. I searched on Spur's website and facebook page to see if I can find anywhere that this special is running from 5pm but nothing. I contacted Spur Customer Call Centre and was told that the special runs the whole day Thursdays. How can The Manager of one of the Franchises not know what specials runs when? But the Waiter knows? Who is at fault?
