Double charged for 1 pizza

On 25 April 2013 16:34 I ordered a pizza and my card was swiped twice. I was assured by the manager that the first swipe didn't go through. When I showed him the 2 smses from the bank, showing 2 debits of 86.90 each, he told me "I get this all the time. Don't worry, the bank will automatically reverse it. You'll get your money back." Not wanting to cause a scene, I took my 1 pizza and left the shop. I checked my statement for April and there was no such reversal.
