WHAT IS GOING ON?

I was retrenched in May 2011. I sent thought all the necessary documentation but I now have attorneys calling me asking when am I going pay, when i queried be the loan insurance etc I was told it was too late. My credit report with Trans Union shows that the amount has been written off so I would love to know what is happening here. I am also getting sms statments. Please let me know what is happening here as I am very confused. I am sure if you go back into my account the loans were paid up and its interest which is "outstanding" but I thought all of this was sorted out as I had send the paper work through.
