I would like to lay complaint regarding my vehicle insurance that a damage on 30/01/2013. The cause was natural disaster because the tree fell on the top of the garage due to the storm that evening. The vehicle was in the garage. Roof tiles, on it and I that accident in the morning 31/01/2013.
The type of policy is a comprehensive cover, the vehicle was towed on the 31st of January 2013 and I received a courtesy vehicle from the 6/02/2013 till the 16/02/2013.
Virgin Money claims that my son who spoke to them on my behalf as we were taking the policy by giving them the information that says "I had been paying uninterrupted car insurance premiums with a different insurer for the past 7 years" which is not so. My son said that I had not claimed in the past 7 years because I did have a car to pay insurance for.
This is where the point of contention is. Therefore, Virgin Money, says from what they gathered from my son (Banele Mtwa) they then gave a wrong premium which is R709 (According them which is LOW) which to this date is STILL being debited from my corner account.
