The building loan application process for FNB is a nightmare. They are unable to provide you with any financial advice on a loan or a process. They will only "HELP" you once you submit an application. The call centre consultants all seem to have a different view of what needs to be done. My application was incorrectly processed. The only sure way to get your application processed is to go to the branch;working individuals need to take time off to get this done because all their Online/Email functionality fails completely with FALSE communication. I was given the run around by several individuals of whom could not be straight with my until I escalated to a more senior individual. Escalation within the ranks was fruitless. A comment made was, "Dont take a building loan here because you will experience problems."My application was unsuccessful, taking 4-5 weeks for a decision and I now have a deposit with the attorneys of which I have no idea when I will receive it;now I have to beg for my own hard earned money. If I was given the assistance upfront I would not have been in this situation. Well done FNB on pushing your customers into a financial corner only to disappoint them with false hope.
