Dimensionlife took my money knowing they wont pay

I have a funeral policy no 153535 with dimesionlife which i joined in 2010. i was paying my premiums since then until now my brother passed away when i put a claim they say my account was in arrears for the month on May 2012 they cannot payout the policy.my problm is if it is true the May 2012 premium did not go through why was i not told about it as the rest of thmonths the premiums where going through. i contacted dimensionlife in june last year to confirm my policy detais they send me the documents and did not mension the fact that i did not pay in may.i also did chang details on my policy in October 2012 but still they didnt tell me my policy was in arrears. it is ovr six months and i dont undrstand how can on b in arrears for that period without being notified
