Oneplan Health Insurance
No Pay Out

I joined OnePlan because some of my family members were on it and I hadn't heard anything negative so I thought I would give it a try. Now I just saw a post on Facebook from my 77 year old grandfather - someone who surely should not be dealing with all these issues at his age!

This is the post:

"Oh boy! One Plan is a one loss... since January getting a payout for my wife's treatment at a hospital while on holiday has been tossed about between so many "consultants" I have lost count! Still no settlement. For myself... a request for new glasses is a comedy show! I have submitted 6 invoices from the optometrist and they keep asking for readings! What readings? Go to One Plan! I will put this onto Facebook so people will know how impersonal and inefficient you are! "

I am grossly disappointed in seeing this, and I am definitely going to be getting quotes to find something else and a more competent insurance or medical aid. I feel like if he is having so many problems dealing with this, a hospital treatment and glasses, how much worse things could be if it was a more severe problem. I need a medical aid / insurance that I can trust and you guys have just broken that trust.
