I called in to ABSA telephonically to make an application for a student loan, at first they were friendly and helpfull told me my loan was provisionally approved and i sshould send supporting documentation.
Then they just went quiet on me, i called in a week later and they would put me oh-hold tell me they are finding out from the person that handled my case what happened. Then the lady said it was declined but because of a judgement on my record, i have no idea what she it talking about, so whule trying to get clarity the phone would cut. Everytime you call in you speak to a different person, you start explaining your case from the begining, the calls take long beause you hold for quite a while before getting to a consultant.
My biggest concern here is the customer care, if you make an application for something, you expect a response. Whether the application is approved or not, you expect some sort of response so you know what happened.
