Cannot get settlement letter on credit card

I am moving my accounts to Investec at a cost of almost R20, 000 purely because of the continual bad service received from ABSA Private Bank, the fact that a client is willing to spend that sort of money in various fee's just to move away from you should say enough.

The latest in EVERY request gone bad to ABSA Private Bank, I requested a settlement letter for settlement of my credit card on the 26th of March from Private Assist (apparently my banker is away) - this is required for the Transfer Attorneys/Investec so settlement can be made with the bond. At the same time I requested whether a credit card payment would need to be before this date as full settlement would be done.

After three emails, Private Assist state they are incapable of providing a settlement letter in advance, and can only provide one for the current day - its something I can work out on a calculator in under 5 seconds.

In ALL THREE email, I asked whether I needed to make a credit card payment before then, as my statement says payment is due on the 22nd - ALL THREE times, including the last being in CAPITALS were ignored.

I cannot wait until my time at ABSA is over, you do not get worse in South Africa.
