Unacceptable Service and turnaround times

On Monday i pour petrol at a service station and pay with my debit card, upon going to pick and pay yesterday and having my transaction declined due to Insuficient funds i discover that i was debited twice for R650 fuel purchase. I approch the Merchant this morning to make him aware of the problem, and he expressed to me that it had happened to several standard bank clients, he then called standard bank to resolve the query and they issued a reference number and said that i will get my money in 5-7 WORKING DAYS.I found this to be and phoned standard bank myself, I get through to " Very helpfull person" that dictates to me my options, which i fail to understand as i am the client here, either i must wait the 5-7 days on the existing references or i can look it with him and it will take 12 working days, so i am left with out money for their up!! i eventaully as i am getting no joy from him i request to be put through to a manager and he politly cuts me off!!! This traetment is absolutly, i am the client here!!

I would like to see if i move banks, and put stops on all my standard bank debit orders, how they will enjoy not having money that is due to them.

Pathetic!
