Request for Statement

I requested a statement on my bond going back a few months. I called a few weeks ago. I am aware that it generally takes a few days to get the emailed statement. However since its been longer than that i followed up my first phone call last week and was assured the statement would be sent by Friday.

I have still not received it. My Question is why?

Secondly,
How come my requests that the statement be sent in a PDF format are ignored? I am unable to open the attachment format that ABSA uses and i ALWAYS have to call back after i have received the first emailed statement and ask them to resend it in a different format. This is after asking them in my FIRST phone call to send it in a different format. (why ignore my first request?)
