Having Ins. with Alexander Forbes means nothing

I was unfortunate to be involved in small accident on the 9 February 2013. I hit a pothole and my cars undercarraige and got damaged. Upon assessment I was told the waterpipe broke and engine head gasket blew. The insurance only covered the plastic bit under the car and not the gasket head and water pipe. Further more they cocked up to where the car had to be taken too and thus reulted in my my car only been looked at more than a week later. I have a hire car policy with them for 30 days. Now seeing that fixing my car required more time they are not willing to extend my hire car cover lete alone cover me for my head gasket and water pipe. Insuarnce are suppose to put you back in the same position as you were before the accident. Aforbes staff was no unhelpful leaving me to follow up on everything. I was asked to trace the call i had with Care sure who towed my car as to where my car was suppose to go. Then i get told they will not extend the cover. This insuarnce company make a great pitch but fail to deliver oon their promises. I have baby boy, single father and now i dont know how i will be picking him up from creche lete alone getting to work. How dare they do this to a client.
