Utterly rude and sarastic comment!!

On 12 March '13 @ 15:47 my cellphone rang. When I answered, the man on the other side identified himself (unfortunately I couldn't hear his name), but I established he was phoning from MFC. He then asked me how I was doing, which immediately ticks me off as I regard this as unprofessional due to the fact that firstly it's not his business, and secondly, if it's not going good, does he really care. Anyway, I showed good manners by replying "Good thank you, and you? " He then continued by telling me he has good news about a plan/service MFC has to offer for coverage of my car's tyres and mags if I should hit a pothole or pick up a puncture etc. He then offered the 3 different packages, but neglected to say the amount was "per month" (I had to ask him). After everything I told him that I want to discuss it with my fiance 1ste as he is the driver which makes it his choice. He continued by pushing and pushing me into this cover and giving comebacks, but I kept on insisting by saying "I will discuss this with my fiance as we make all our decisions together". He then made a snotty and utterly unprofessional comment: "SO IF YOU BUY A CAN OF COKE, YOU ASK HIS PERMISSION FIRST". Enough said...
