More than 20% increase per month - no notification

Without prior communication, they increase the debit order by 20%. When queired they said that that is there annual increase, i am sure we would have noticed that last year. They not even looking at adjusting the policy.
Incidentally i have found other insurers offering 30% less than what they quoted with same coverage.
