First For Women Insurance
Imperative Information left out during quote

Business & Finance

A week ago I thought that I had an amazing experience with First For Women Insurance.
I was very wrong!
I was told that my excess would be R3600.
All the information that I gave them was correct, yet they still managed to make so many mistakes in the documentation that they sent me. Secondly, they knew from the first phone call that a) I was under the age of 25 and b) that I had only had my license for just over a year, yet only once I had
agreed to sign on with them, had given them all my bank details etc, did the truth come out.
While I was reading through the final documentation that they sent me, I noticed under the excess
section that if you are under the age of 25, it is an additional excess of R1700, and another R2000 as well if you've had your license less than 2years. I would NEVER have agreed to sign with them knowing that my excess would be so high (R7300!!!) Most definitely tricked into agreement there, that was a vital piece of info conveniently left out. When I spoke to a manager, I was told that it was my responsibility to read the paper work. But paperwork is only received once I've agreed to start with them, which I would never have done knowing the truth. DISGUSTED!
