Regent demands money, contract was cancelled

Hi there,

I openened an account with Regent last June 2012 - it wouldve been effective by 01 July 2012.

I phoned my current insurer and they actually gave me a better price to stay on, which I decided to do. I then phoned you and cancelled the contract BEFORE 01 July 2012. I think it was about the 18th.

You said that it was cancelled and that I hadnt have to pay the first installment, as it was before the effective date. Now Im on ITC for NOT PAYING the first installment.

Which in my mind says that the person who made the cancellation did not cancel my contract and now I have a bad reputation with the credit bureaus.

Please can you sort this out. My name is still listed on experian
