Budget Insurance
Budget Tracker discount on 2 devices

Business & Finance

I previously had 2 vehicles insured with budget and both of these were fitted with tracking devices from Tracker, I subsequently sold one vehicle and now have to pay a premium rate on that tracking device because that vehicle is no longer insured with Budget. How is it that I have to pay premium although I'm already a customer of budget. Yes I understand the fact that these devices are per vehicle, but then why do I get convinced into fitting a tracker to my vehicle at a reduced cost, and when the time comes to sell, I sit with another 24 months of payment at a higher cost. This does not make sense to me, is Tracker overcharging me for my tracking device, why cant I as an existing Budget customer not get the reduced rate still on both devices? My repayment on this device is almost double the cost, how is it that Budget can pay half of what I am paying? I have tried to put forward my issue telephonically. I would like to pay the reduced rate, I could then settle this account all together, because as it stands I have to pay R1300 more on my settlement because of paying premium rates. I have been an existing customer for many years now, I have never claimed, please consider.
