I have a personal loan held with FNB. The 27th of Feb I got a call from Mary stating that I am in arrears and need to pay an amount of - R130.00. I asked her to explain to me how it is possible if they deduct the payment via debit order on a monthly basis and she told me to go to my nearest branch to sort it out. She was very unhelpful and really unfriendly. After insisting on an explanation she handed the phone to some one else who promised to look in to the matter and give me a call asap. It is now almost a week later and still no feedback. How can they call me and then not be in a position toe explain to me how and why I am in arrears if they deduct the payment? Who is at fault here? I am more than willing to pay the amount but at least needs to know why? I've been a customer of FNB for 7 years and it is the first time that something like this happens and the first time that the service is so upsetting. Please can you assist me in getting this sorted?
