Marietjie Lloyd received a home insurance claim from us in September 2012 and up to date we have not received any feedback from ABSA Insurance Services regarding our claim. We had pipes that were cut off, toilets vandalised etc at this house we rent out, so we urgently needed a plumber to repair all plumbing and settled the invoice ourselves. We had the house vandalised, alarm system damaged, gate motor and had to pay all those suppliers ourselves. We submitted the claim to Absa last year and only received vague messages regarding our documentation begin vague. I am seriously doubting if these people know what they are doing... Furthermore upon phoning to speak to Marietjie regarding this claim, the lady that answered could not let me speak to Marietjie but instead ran around giving me messages from Marietjie Lloyd. Hands-down this is the worst 'service' I have ever come across. Do these people have no pride in their jobs? Or do they simply not care about the damages we suffered and the amount of money we had to spend to get the house in proper order again to be able to get tenants in again? They simply don't care it seems, but they are fast to take your money!!
