Worst ABSA Branch eve

After receiving information that I needed to go to a branch and provide them FICA information, I went through all the hassle of getting an affidavit from my landlord, a copy of my ID and the original Water and Lights account, which by the way is in the owners name.

Just because it was not on an Absa letterhead, they refused to help me. They also refused all access to my funds in order to close the account.

This is exactly why ABSA is in my books regarded as the worst bank ever. Hope that all their cusomers read reports like this as the day will come that you need to pay an account from ABSA and you will be stuck with absolutely zero access to your funds!
