On Tuesday 18/02/2013 i hit a pot hole. I phoned the insurance and they advised that they will send a towing truck. The lady was very helpful and made follow up calls. The problem started when I wanted to put in a claim. Every time I called I was advised that someone will call me. I was taken to the assessment centre with my car and advised its unsafe to drive. I then arranged for transport home. I phoned daily to follow up and today I got hold of a lady that advised that they are not paying my claim. I took out the policy with them in 2009 and set my access at R1500, in June 2011 their system decided to put my access at R7700 without my authorisation. I never knew this. My claim now is R3321.64 and because it is lower than the access they chose for me they will not pay. Then I wanted to cancel and ask regarding my tracker system that was not installed. I spoke to tracker and was advised that the contract was cancelled 09/2010. So for 29 months I've paid for tracker that is not installed or activated. I would never ever refer anyone to make use of their services. Changes are made on policies without any authorisation from you. And when it comes to a claim service is pathetic.
