I just want to publicly commend the excellent service delivered by Ayesha Haffejee of Core Banking Solutions at FNB. She listened to my complaint about FNB's billing cycle, followed up with a phone call, apologized where necessary but also explained how the billing cycle worked. I was very happy with her explanation and even more appreciative that she took the time out to make telephonic contact with me and acknowledge my frustration with trying to understand the bank's billing system. The system threw me another curve-ball, adding charges to my account and I raised my dissatisfaction again. After receiving a generic e-mail basically saying 'Sorry there's nothing we can do' I asked that my complaint be addressed by Ayesha. She immediately addressed the problem by way of reversing the additional banking charges debited to my account and following up with an e-mail. This was certainly the appropriate good-will gesture to make and one that has resulted in me taking the time to sing her praises and those of FNB who clearly are flexible enough to listen and respond to their clients needs. I'm a happy customer.
