I want my money and now!!!

I withdrew from my provident fund when i resigned from work and was told 6-8weeks for the refund, ie 28 dec. i got no response from ABSA throu my work place and waited until the 2jan to be told my cheque will be deposited on friday and specially CLEARED, ie so i can have my refund asap, only to find out from the bank that a deposit was made bt no special clearance now i have to wit 10-14days???

NOW why should i wait for 10-14days for MY MONEY!!!
can someone eplain and for those days ABSA had my money can i have interest please as the it was not in my hands.
