Get no feedback on the progress of the case

My case has been ongoing for the last two months and it just seems that my case is not being attended to. I do realise that there are many other clients, but I don't see why my case is not being seen too, because it is not less important than the next person's case. I phone them at least one a week to find out what is happening, the lawyer is never available to talk to and the persons taking the message just says that they will come back to me, but they NEVER do. They were also supposed to have fax me a letter and I have now been waited two weeks for this letter, which I still to this day have not received. I don't expect to be treated differently but I do expect them to at least let me know how far the case is. I only want some feedback is that so difficult. This is very bad service and I can't see why I pay every month for bad service like this.
