I experienced my 1st misfortune after 13 years of accident free driving. I was hit 3 times from the back by a truck driver who claimed that he did not see me. Everything went downhill when I drove in for an appointment at Easyway. When opening the boot of my car to reveal how it had been affected by the collision, the assessor waved his hand at me & told me that was due to wear & tear of the vehicle & did not attempt to investigate further. He dismissed anything I had to say & even insinuated that I was a. I could see I was going nowhere with attempting to rectify the incorrect assessment, I contacted my insurance company to highlight what had transpired. I drove to the car dealership & for them to look into the damage at which time they provided me with written confirmation that the accident had indeed affected the operation of my boot. They found that a bolt from the left hand side boot shock had been damaged and displaced during the accident. If the assessor had taken 1 min to inspect the boot, he would have made this discovery. I then submitted this to my insurance company, with them instantly accepting the claim. Since then, I have not received an apology from Easyway.
