My19yr old son's card was retained at the FNB ATM in Gateway and whilst he was standing waiting for the machine to respond. He received an sms stating money was withdrawn at Standard Bank for a R1000 and then R500.I contacted the line immediately and was told it was blocked. He went into the bank and reported it and was told by Omishka he will get his money back as it shows the machine took his card. Later the day purchase was madeat Spar for R400.To date he was not contacted by the dept but received a call from Omishka saying it will not be refunded. Cameras were not checked, Gateway security was not advised that the ATM was tampered with and we had to report it to the SAP.When i enquired with Gateway Security. They were unaware. It goes to show that FNB does not value their clients and knowing that the Atm was tampered allowed other FNB clients to use the machine and be at risk. When i calledthe line i was told it will be declined becausehe jeopardised his pin. How is this possible when the machine took the card and if you took the time to view your footage, it would show him in front. FNB WANTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIM BECAUSE HE IS YOUNG.Is this how you make people feel
