Hi

I logged a claim under my building insurance for my boundary wall which was knocked down by someone on the 12th of February 2013.
it is a precast wall which just had the 6 panels broken in half which in my opinion is a simple repair (bring 6 new panels and slide them in as the columns are still intact, maybe a half hour to an hour job)

Since i logged the claim i have had endless nightmares. The first lady i spoke to called a couple of contractors and called me to say someone could come out to fix on Thursday the 14th of February but she told me that she was trying to get someone sooner. the company she assigned has still not come out to even quote and it is now Friday.

I don't understand why it takes 4 days just to get a quote.
Surely the whole point of outsurance having deals with preferred service providers is so they can get preferential treatment?
