Questioning the decline of a Credit Card

My application for a Discovery Credit card was decline for which I contacted Discovery to get more insight into the reason. I did speak to a consultant which in turn transferred me to a supervisor / manager who informed me that Discovery would contact me in a separate email to get more information other than the ICT information they use to vet such an application. This is where is stopped. Since Thursday, 7th February I had no further news from Discovery.
