Auto and General through SAARP give good service

18 months ago I joined the SA Assoc for Retired Persons (SAARP).1of the many benefits of the free membership is that they have negotiated good deals with A&G. In Aug '11 I changed to A&G for comprehensive insurance on my car as I found that premium I had been quoted was very good. Unfortunately in the next month I was involved in an accident when I bumped into the back of an older little Nissan bakkie as I hadn't realized that they were slowing down to turn left into a driveway. From the time I phoned A&G to arrange for my car to be towed away they dealt so efficiently with the situation. They sent 1of their recommended tow trucks to collect my car. I felt so bad that I had caused damage to bakkie that was owner's transport to get to work. I assisted him in submitting his claim against A&G but was not too optimistic that they would compensate him for the damage as his vehicle was quite an old one. Much to my surprise A&G paid the bakkie owner enough for him to get his bakkie repaired privately. A&G organised for my car to be repaired. Recently my car was written off when another driver sideswiped it; A&G paid me out promptly & generously. My next car is under A&G ins
